The tickets cost £6, and the event is at 3pm on 25th April at the Kazimier.  One ticket entitles you to frolic, cavort and generally be at Dr Sketchy Liverpool’s very first show – but not only that … there are loads of magnificent goodies we are giving away and all supplied by our generous sponsors, who have their banners right around here somewhere!

Hey, welcome to Dr Sketchy Liverpool! The latest outpost of the saucy art empire, the place where drawing, drink and dames collide into an unusual pile.

Our first ever event is going to be a wild ride, featuring some of the UK’s hottest Burlesque performers. With an eye for the lead in your pencil we have carefully selected the sensational Scarlett Daggers, the bloody lovely Bella Besame and the delectable Ditzy Diamond.
Our Compere for the first night will be the inimitable Diva Hollywood.

When is it?

Our first event is on Sunday April the 25th, it starts at 3pm, and will finish about 7ish, perhaps a little later. The performances and modeling will probably start at 4, but get there early if you want to get a great seat. And get pre-doodling drunk.

It [was at] the  Kazimier club, the dead centre of Liverpools happening art underground subculture thang; a wonderful and unusual space with lots of great sight-lines for drawing and watching the acts. That crucial bar full of booze and two whole levels which you can perch yourself on to get the perfect angle.

Oh, there will be more seating in there than just the one table and chair pictured, so you won’t all have to sit on each others laps. well, you can if you want to.

Accesibility

The wonderful Kazimier folks  are aiming to make the venue as accessible as possible, and are busily constructing a ramp so people with reduced mobility can get up the 2 small steps from the entranceway to the lower area you can see here.

The toilets are all on the ground floor, but there is no dedicated disabled toilet, so please bear that in mind if you need one. Big apologies about that.

The Future

We are starting out with a sketchy every other month, on the last Sunday of the month, so the one after this is June 27th.

In the upcoming months we have a lot of surprises up our sleeves, because we are already booking  performers up to November – and some of them you will not expect!
