What is Dr Sketchy?

Dr Sketchy is an “Anti-Art School”, a worldwide phenomenon of drink, dames and drawing – where you, yes you, can come and draw performers of various kinds! Dr Sketchy was created by Molly Crabapple in New York, and it has turned into an international thingumy with over a hundred Dr Sketchy’s worldwide. When are the Events?

Dr Sketchy is an afternoon event, held on a Sunday.

So, tell me, is there Nakedness?

Well, it’s all sexy … but to be clear it’s partial nakedness in our case; that means some corsetry, nipple tassels, sparkly things . The simplest test of whether you can handle it is by staring at this picture, a perfect example of sultry sketch-able sexiness.

Dr Sketchy is an adult event for the open minded individual, it’s not for kids!

What does the Liverpool one do Differently?

Each Dr Sketchy is a bit different. The Liverpool (UK) version brings top quality Burlesque stars to perform their acts and also to life model, so you can sketch their captivating costumes and also doodle the beguiling bodies beneath.

Who runs the Liverpool Dr Sketchy?

There are two of us.

Diva Hollywood Recently voted one of the worlds top 50 burlesque performers (by 21st Century pin-up Magazine), Diva’s credentials speak for themselves. Since 2005 Diva has performed burlesque around the world headlining in the top burlesque clubs in New York, Milan, Geneva and Paris and won awards for her amazing burlesque acts.

Steve Angstrom Toured the world as a musician, and had number one hits around the world, at least … in the weirder charts! Now he is co-creating the comic Twilight Girls, still making that strange music, but now with movies and more.
